Fluoride is bad says "Scientist". Really?
Universe is good says "Happy Guy". Hmmm maybe?

What is with the earthquakes man?
I think we had enough already. Then poor old Japan? Stoopid planet, why don't you grow up.
Soo, we've moved to the country in January. Kirwee to be precise.
It's pretty cool here except for the cost of fuel.
A bit of land, some garden, some fruit trees, a lot of clean air, no traffic, no saturday night burn outs from turbo inline 6 toting skylines and no tegal chicken factory rendering or fertiliser works air pollution.
I don't eat as much junk food now it's semi out of reach and my golf handicap has finally reached into the single figure bracket.
It's hard to ask for more really but I will: Be strong people of Christchurch and of course Japan. I love you.

So it seems that I've lost a whole pile of really old entries but no matter.
The ones I could locate are there in all of their previous anger, insolence, youthful innocence and unenlightenment.
Please take them for what they are. An archive of a very different time in my life.

It's obvious that some emotional issues have surfaced. Re-surfaced that is.
This is relatively old baggage. Like 6 to 10 years old.
It was perfectly fine the way it was - buried - but it wasn't finished. It wasn't sorted. Maybe can't be.
I am both loving and not loving this. That is okay for now.

When the moon shines through your window And the lonely part of the night catches up with you You’ll look beside you To an empty space Where my body used to lie I’ve been called an angel Who looks beautiful whilst dreaming Yet the moon will shine And not over me For you lost me a long time ago
Again printed without permission.
Life is an interesting, spellbinding journey.
Thankfully we always have opportunities to learn. To grow.
I have regrets which I will allude to here by showing you this poem from the same author as the last one.
I have a knotted feeling in the pit of my stomach. I don't like the seemingly unresolvable nature of this
and I dislike the way I dealt with it last time. Sure the feeling went away because I was mad but now it's back.
Not yet convinced I want rid of it. Not sure it's my decision this time.

Tears fall A steady stream Helping to soak my pillow wet The redness of my eyes Stings so much As I taste the salty tears Gathering in my mouth It’s hard to accept When you’re rejected For a reason you believe Could change so easily Stop the pain Let me stand tall And have some dignity As the tears are falling
Someone I used to be close to sent me this a long time ago.
Feeling a bit emotional tonight so here you go...
Published without permission because we haven't spoken for 6 years. My fault. I miss you, really...

Before the extra 8 kilos appeared from nowhere, before I had anything better to do, I did this...
It was a reasonable way to while away the last 20 years but I grew to loathe it until I finally conceded that the bug was not coming back, ever.
Well done to Joey, Jackie and Martin for the wonderful performances at the Comm Games. I did so enjoy watching the events and am thrilled that technology is finally able to present squash in the manner it deserves.
Congratulations to the rest of the team who I know worked just as hard to get there as much for us as for them.

It's no way to conclude any sporting event.
Are you serious?
How is it possible that noone has been able to come up with a more successful and sporting way to resolve a tied game? Penalty shots are unsportsmanlike, selfish and just plain ridiculous.
Here, try this for a more sportsmanlike tie-breaker...
Simply remove a player from each team for every two minutes of extra time until a goal/point is scored one way or the other.
I'm not sure how this obvious tactic has never even been trialled. It seems a far more fair and equitable way to resolve a tie while keeping the essence of the game in tact.

I must admit to a bit of strange nostalgia when I look back at some of the earlier diary entries....
Remembering the people who were in my life at the time - a lot of those who aren“t around any longer and some who are........

Blimey! I´m back!
Not like I ever went away but its been a nice break. I got so damn sick of this caper that I ran away at full speed.
Now its all go again, I´m slowly re-coding the old site to bring it a little more up to date. I´ve converted it from JScript to VBscript and simplified/improved the back end to the point where I could pretty much sell the software as a portal if i had the inclination. Maybe i´ll investigate that option once i get the membership and download/upload sections functioning the way i want - for now theres the diary. And the smilies of course.......
I´ll write some more when i can be bothered but i think i can be bothered a bit more these days, i have plenty to say so stay tuned and i´ll catch you all up......
